Our Story
Nearly four hundred years at the heart of Clipston
The Bulls Head has stood on Harborough Road since 1627, a few miles south of Market Harborough and a short ride from the fields of Naseby.
When King Charles marched past the village on his way to battle in 1645, the inn was barely twenty years old. He might have done better to stop for a pint and go no further.
Look up when you come in. The old beams are studded with coins pressed into the wood by American airmen stationed nearby during the Second World War.
Now a new chapter begins. Same beams, same fires, fresh energy, and the same warm welcome for the village and everyone who finds their way here.
